Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977 is an American actress , best recognized for her part in 24 and the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in the city. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. While in her youth she took part in Irish dance and belonged to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She holds completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching's acting career began with a guest appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap series General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also played guest parts on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She was also a regular in the series of Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was announced that Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching was to be cast in the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
