Los Angeles, California in 1970. Her parents relocated to Dallas soon after she
was born. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Performing and
Visual Arts, located within the Arts District. She obtained her BFA in acting

was a part of the Dallas Theatre Center as well as a year with Encore Company.

Measure", "Baby" and "Chicago" in addition to numerous
others. She stood out in Michael Cristofer’s HBO Telefilm Gia (1998) in which
she starred alongside Angelina Jolie. This performance made her a favorite of
audience and critics alike. Her charismatic acting talents were evident in the
sci-fi action film Frequency (2000), which was in the cast of Dennis Quaid and
Neil LaBute. With numerous credits from television series, theaters and films,
Elizabeth Mitchell continues to perform at her very best acting performances.
